Results Modrychi Hillclimb 2018

The second leg of the Grand Prix Truskavets saw the competitors move a few kilometres outside of the city to the Modrychi Hillclimb. The weather took a turn for the worst and the race was competed in the rain.

Boris Ganja always performs well at Modrychi. He won here in the dry in 2016 and again in the wet in 2017. Winner the day before Anton Korzun was fastest in practise. But after that Ganja took control with fastest times in the first and third race. Even though he made a small mistake in race two, it could not keep him from his third victory. Korzun was quite close to the winner but eventually had to settle for second. Volodymyr Petrenko did one position better than Saturday and finished third overall. He was however 9 seconds slower than the winner. Oleksandr Kozlov was not driving on Saturday but on Sunday he finished fourth overall. Volodymyr Apostolyuk was again the best driver in the 2-Wheel-Drive category. He finished sixth overall behind Denis Lohman.
