Results Course de Côte de Pont des Abarines 2018

For the fourth consecutive time Nicolas verdier became the winner of the Course de Côte de Pont des Abarines. Verdier faced some stiff opposition from Fabrice Flandy but he kept improving his times throughout the day to claim victory. Romain Gelly set his fastest time already in the very first race session. It proved to be enough for third overall. Cedric Monziols came ever closer to that third place but had to be satisfied with fourth. He did win the competitive CM-class.

The Simcas were the class of the field in the touringcars. Jérome Jacquot took a narrow victory over Joel Ribot. Jean-Pierre Metivier in another Simca was the quickest of the F2000 group. Group N saw the most drivers entered at Abarines. Sylvain Rouquette in the Renault Clio almost got the better of the BMW M3’s. Only Michaël Eguillon was quicker and he claimed the Group N victory. Finally Guillaume Plan was the winner in Group A.
