Results Penellu Hillclimb 2014

The next round of the Malta Hillclimb Championship took place last weekend. Some 60 drivers were present for the Penellu Hillclimb near Mellieħa on the west of the island. Zach Zammit (Ralt) won the previous event a few weeks ago. Back then he was closely trailed by current champion Marc Micallef (Radical Prosport). However, this weekend both of them had to bow down to Keith Camilleri who surprised the favourites to take home the win. In the touringcar category Noel Galea (Ford Escort) and John Zammit (Lotus Elise) fought for every thousandth of a second. Their duel was decided in the last timed race of the day were Galea managed a 0.005 advantage. Click on ‘More’ to see the final results.
