Results Course de Côte du Col de Vignon 2017

Last weekend was the final weekend of hillclimb racing in France this year. On Saturday the Course de Côte du Col de Vignon ended the year for the P.A.C.A. region. Jérémy Debels was unstoppable all year and this was no different at the Col du Vignon. The Osella PA21/S pilot took his third consecutive victory at the hillclimb near Plan-de-la-Tour. His lead over closest rival Jean-Claude Morel was a stunning 1,5 seconds. Anthony Carifi ended the year with another podium in third. Damien Benedetto was placed fourth but also 4,5 seconds slower than the winner.

Christian Astier dominated the touringcars in a similar fashion as Debels dominated in the sportscars. Astier was the quickest with a lead of almost 2 seconds over Jonathan Vargas-Beltramon and David Rebotier.
