There are again a number of hilllcimbs in France this weekend. At the Course de Côte d’Azé Donzy in central France around 70 drivers have entered so far. Well-known names are David Guillaumard, Marcel Sapin and Alban Thomas. Olivier Desrayaud is also entered in a Citroën C2 S1600.

The French Hillclimb Championship continues this weekend with the Course de Côte de La Pommeraye. There are no surprises on the 100 driver long entrylist. All the top drivers are present including of course championship leader Sébastien Petit. Most drivers are entered in class CN2 with 15 participants.

The Course de Côte de Tarbes Osmets Luby was won by Rémi Bechadergue. The Dallara F3 pilot was faster than Julien Devaux and Romain Potacconi. Also worth noting is the brilliant performance by Ronald Garces. He placed his Porsche 997 Cup in sixth overall.

The Course de Côte de Sens – Voisines was won by Pierre Mayeur. Already in the first race he set a time that was good enough for victory. Frédéric Chatelain was the winner last year. This year he went faster than his winning time of 2016 but it was not enough to beat Mayeur. Cédric …

The Course de Côte de Coligny was a prey for Marcel Sapin. David Guillaumard was present in his Dallara F308 Mercedes instead of his usual Norma M20 FC. Yet the 2015 winner could not stop Sapin for victory. Maxime Cotleur finished behind the two leaders in third place.
